ABOUT US
ICAN is a volunteer Vineyard organization that provides information about local climate activities, advocates for local climate action, and provides information on ways islanders can help.
WHO WE ARE
ICAN is a group of Vineyarders of all ages working together to further local action on climate change. Our volunteer Steering Committee is made up of residents of all island towns, including representatives from some of the island organizations working for climate action.
WHAT WE DO
Through our website and social media, a monthly email newsletter, and group meetings, we disseminate information about island climate activities and advocate for climate-responsive actions and policies.
OUR VISION
We advocate that all island decisions be made with climate in mind. As a community, we are focused on working together to prepare for and adapt to the impacts that climate change brings, while dramatically reducing our island's carbon footprint.
