MV Community Seed Library
Event Type:In-Person
Seed libraries are a vibrant part of these “alternative food networks.” The MV Community Seed Library is a collaboration with Island Grown Initiative, Polly Hill Arboretum, West Tisbury Library, Whippoorwill Farm, and a growing group of both long-time and first-time seed savers.
Each year, we host seed saving and processing workshops, seed and seedling swaps, and maintain a small but growing seed collection in a card catalog downstairs in the WT library. MV Community Seed Library @ WT Library
Check out the Seed Saving Library to pick up some community donated seeds and/or donate your own! The collection lives at the WT library and is available all year, not just during Climate Action Week!
Seed Library Representatives will be at the Grange on May 14th from 10am-2pm with the library display and to answer any questions!
Mark your Calendar for their Seed Saving Swap May 28th!
